When it comes to packing for trip, we all freak out. Because honestly, who doesn’t pack the night before leaving? We all do! And in the process, we either under-pack or over-pack. Leaving out the most important things could be so frightening and on the other hand, carrying completely useless things is a pain. Nobody likes dead-weight and it’s easier to ditch some things in the hotel room rather than bringing it back from an exhaustive trip. So, knowing all travel packing tips could come in handy the next time you travel! Use them to the fullest and thank us later!

Packing for Trip is now easy with these Simple Hacks for a Comfortable Journey:

Know the Place where you Going:

The most important thing to keep in mind before starting to pack is to analyse where you’re going. Yes, the fact that you’ll obviously be knowing where you’ll be going but knowing the type of weather and other things is not something that you should overlook! Google the name of the place and read about it when you’re in the middle of a meeting which could have been just an email forward. Find out what kind of mood swings the city gets and how you could tackle it! If the place is prone to more of rainy days, carry an umbrella or a raincoat. If the place is on the coast side, carry more of lightweight clothes and a good hat! This way you won’t be carrying clothes you won’t be needing.

Travel Essentials Checklist:

The second most important thing to do is to make a checklist. This sounds extremely boring but it actually speeds up the process! Jot down all the things you want to carry and leave some space beside it to put your ‘check’. Place all these things on your bed and weigh your options. Which ones can be left behind? Do you really need two jackets? You could survive with only one! Another tip is to pack only half of these things you placed on your bed. Even the thought of it is horrifying but you’ll love that extra space in your bag when you end up impulsively shopping souvenirs!

Minimalist Packing is your Mantra:

Understand that you decide what to carry for this trip. Knowing the number of days that you’ll be at new a place puts you on top of the chain! It doesn't matter if you're going for a long or a short vacation - minimalism is your mantra. Chant it every second of the day!

If you want to carry that amazing pair of shoes that you bought on sale last weekend, wear it while in transit and you'll be saving so much space in your suitcase. Or, if you don't want to wear it, wrap and stuff small things like socks, jewellery, and scarves inside shoes. That would not only save space but also prevent any damage to your things. Before you dump your shoes in the bag, make sure to place it in a laundry bag or some sort of a cover so your clothes don't get earthed.

Prioritize your Stuffs for easy access:

Now that everything is in order, the most dreaded part of it falls on your shoulder - to pack. Take out your bag from the closet and give it a nice dusting. Start from the corners by placing all big clothing items like jeans, t-shirts, towels in a concentric manner. Go layer by layer and finish with the lightest item on the top. If you have a jacket which you would want to access easily, pack it on the top too so you can wear it anytime you want! Also, always carry a smaller bag like a backpack where you can store things like your phone or wallet or even tickets so that you don't have to dismantle your hard work every time you need to use it.
